Teachers

Claire Havey
Claire began practising yoga in 1989 to increase her physical strength, but soon began to value yoga for its power to quieten the mind and body. She trained with Caroline Coggins at the Kings Cross Yoga Centre where she taught for 10 years. Claire continues to study yoga with Caroline and with the Iyengar family in Pune, India.
Don Mamouney
Don is an independent hatha yoga practitioner and teacher with more than 15 years teaching experience in Iyengar-based yoga. He was a co-founder of Yoga Track and from 1995 to 2004 was principal teacher at The Pyrmont Yoga Studio. His classes concentrate on developing balance, core strength and flexibility. His teaching style is dynamic and good humoured.
Gary Browne
Gary began practising yoga in 1998 and later completed his teacher training with Alan Goode. His ability to quickly identify individual needs stems from his detailed anatomical knowledge (he has an honours degree in Anatomy and Physiology). Gary is particularly interested in the interaction between sports and yoga, and began practising yoga to help with constant back muscle strains sustained through road cycling. He endeavours to promote an experience and understanding of the many layers of yoga practice through his teaching.
Chia Moan
Chia is passionate about the transformational effects that the practice of yoga offers everyone, regardless of their age and shape. "The consistent practice of yoga has shown me that almost anything is possible, at any age, and that is uplifting." Chia is committed to Iyengar Yoga because of its rigor, depth and demonstrable impact. She has been practising since 1990.
