Class Information
Beginners and New Students
Before you come to your first class, contact us by email or telephone, so that we can advise on the best class for you, according to the Class Levels outlined below. If possible, bring a completed enrolment form with you to your first class.
Class Levels
Beginners Courses
Beginners courses are suitable for new students with no previous yoga experience. They provide a clear foundation in the core yoga poses and philosophy. Bookings are essential for beginners courses and payment is in advance.
Beginners Classes
Beginners classes are for new students with no yoga experience or with some previous exposure to yoga. You can join at anytime.
Level 1 Classes
Level 1 classes are suitable for students who have completed at least 6 months of beginners courses/classes, and students new to Iyengar Yoga who have experience in other yoga disciplines.
Level 2 Classes
Level 2 classes are suitable for students who have completed 12 months or more in Level 1, or students new to the school who have studied Iyengar Yoga elsewhere. These classes include inversions, stronger asana practice and pranayama. Please check with one of our teachers before attending.
